Interviewing for Solution 4th Edition

When my dear friend Anabela, few years ago, shared with me the Solution Focus Approach in family Therapy and Peter de Jong and Insoo Kim Berg book “Interviewing for Solutions” I had a quite skeptical reaction. At that time we were preparing a training course for psychologist and social workers, working as liaisons between families that had their children placed and the residential institutions. The book seams at that time too superficial and too much link to the positive psychology movement.

Two years after I have two confess the solution focus approach become a main tool in my daily therapeutic tool box particularly when I´m working the mandated clients and now “Interviewing for Solutions” is a frequent book on my desk.
