Multi Family Therapy in Europe
Multi Family Therapy, has been developed all aroud the world, but the London team of the Marlborough Family Service has made great contributions to the field in the last thirty twenty years.
Recently in a European Partnership the Marlborough developed a Multi Family Approach to work with abusive families, which is inovative and challenging in the way it matches more traditional views of family therapy with pos-modern perspectives and techniniques like reflective teams.

Kenneth Gergen in Chile
Kenneth Gergen is one of the ideologists of Social Constructionism Theory and one of the most thought provocative psychologists of our times. His relational view of the self changed the traditional emphasis on the individual mind to the relational process. For Gergen meaning doesn’t exit inside the self or inside the mind, meaning exist in our social relational spaceK. Gergen few years ago gave a lecture in Chile, about is main ideas, and particular about Social Constructionism as a new paradigm. The lecture is in the youtube, we embedded the first part and published the links to the other parts of the lecture.

First Post
Scenarios & Narratives in Family Therapy is a new personal project that aims to reflect my journey through the universe of Family Therapy. Although my mother language is Portuguese I decided to publish this blog in English hopping that my ideas and narratives could travel more miles and create a more heterogeneous network. Writing in a foreign language is of course a risk. I’m shore that quite a few grammar, syntax and orthography mistakes will occur, but hopefully I will be able to communicate my main ideas.
