Interviewing for Solution 4th Edition
When my dear friend Anabela, few years ago, shared with me the Solution Focus Approach in family Therapy and Peter de Jong and Insoo Kim Berg book “Interviewing for Solutions” I had a quite skeptical reaction. At that time we were preparing a training course for psychologist and social workers, working as liaisons between families that had their children placed and the residential institutions. The book seams at that time too superficial and too much link to the positive psychology movement.
Two years after I have two confess the solution focus approach become a main tool in my daily therapeutic tool box particularly when I´m working the mandated clients and now “Interviewing for Solutions” is a frequent book on my desk.
Soon will be available the 4th Edition of this outstanding book, the content can be already consulted at publisher web site:

Multi Family Therapy in Europe
Multi Family Therapy, has been developed all aroud the world, but the London team of the Marlborough Family Service has made great contributions to the field in the last thirty twenty years.
Recently in a European Partnership the Marlborough developed a Multi Family Approach to work with abusive families, which is inovative and challenging in the way it matches more traditional views of family therapy with pos-modern perspectives and techniniques like reflective teams.
